Cookie Contracts & Policies & Ordering

Payment Due:

You pay, I'll bake! Payment is required up front so I can source your cute cutters, sensational sprinkles, wondrous food colors and the perfect packaging. Your payment will reserve your shipping date. 

Deliver Clause: 

Local orders can be be Delivered by me  for an additional flat rate od $10.00.  If you chose Delivery by USPS there will be a shipping charges at the going rates. 

Change Cutoff:

Decisions are tough! But we're here to help. Order changes can be made up to 4 days after you place your order. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee may apply.

Inspiration:

Thanks a bunch for bringing your pictures! They are just that-inspiring. But your cookies may not be perfect replicas but, we'll try to keep it close.

Covid Care:

If you have come in contact with Covid,  we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze your cookies for 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.

In A Hurry?:

While I can't accommodate all last-minute orders, I will make my best effort to help you. Orders placed with a turn around time under 5 days will require a rush fee of $10.00

Price Adjustments:

All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredient costs. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting Cookies. This also means that I cannot honor old pricing (because the grocery store won't honor their old flour prices - darn it!)

Product Photography:

Say Cheese! We create replicas of client orders to photograph these pretty sweet looking treats. If you do not want your cookies in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. Secrets are safe with me.

Copycats:

Copyright images (think Star Wars and Peppa Pig for example) are copyright protected and I won't be able to replicate them in bake goods (who wants a cookie controversy)? We can make a similar color palette though so let's talk!

Pictures are Worth a Thousand Words:

They are not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you may end up with. Also, cookies in photos may not be true to size! (Which is a bummer, I'd frankly love to eat an 8.5x11 inch cookie!!)

Eenie, Meenie order Minimums: (that didn't rhyme - sorry, I'm a baker not a poet). I need a minimum order of  2 dozen! Need fewer? Stay tuned for a Pop-Up Shop announcement on my Facebook page!

It's all yours Now! Ship Shape:

 I will deliver locally and I charge for it, the price of gas is ridiculous!  I often need the help of my husband and USPS. I do my best to package cookies for a rough ride, but broken cookies are a possibility and a non-refundable risk you take when placing a shipped order. Also-while I ship Priority, I can't guarantee that "rain, sleet, snow or hail" won't delay your order. Refunds can't be offered-but know that they're on their way, once tracking information is provided, claims for lost orders can be placed with USPS. Cakes and cupcakes  cannot be shipped, they are too delicate to placed in the hands of USPS. These items are for local delivery, by me, with a milage charge. 

 NO Ghosts:

To get your order just right, I'll need you to reply to my messages within 2-3 hours-otherwise, I may just have to wing it (I'm good at winging it-just ask my eyeliner). Questions for me? Please give me about 3 to 4 hours to reply-I'm usually covered in flour and cookie dough! 

Allergies? Achoo!!

Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. While I can do my best to accommodate, I can't always accommodate allergy-conscious orders. And at this time, I don't offer Gluten-free or dairy-free baked goods.

Cottage Food Laws:

This order has been made in a home kitchen not inspected by the state of Florida. Our kitchen is not nut-free, egg- free, dairy-free, gluten-free.  Food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possible-albeit hopefully far reaching.

Boring disclaimer, but we have to 

say it per the law. 

Weather Clause:

If delivery is impossible due to inclement weather, your order will be heat sealed for a later delivery date. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered due to weather (darn rain), but we will make sure your order is kept as fresh as possible 

for the next day.

Refunds:

    Due to the time consuming, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for custom orders. Refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored 

after delivery.  Keep in mind that some baked goods are fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. 

Bulk Order?:

Due to custom work required for each cookie, we are unable to extends discounts regardless of quantity.  If you have a specific budget you are working with, feel free to let us know in advance and we'll do our best to offer you a 

solution that fits your budget.
